After receiving comments from the Local Rules Committee and the bankruptcy bar regarding the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maine’s Chapter 13 Plan, Judge Cary and Judge Fagone have approved certain revisions to that form.  The judges plan to require the use of the revised plan for all Chapter 13 plans or modified plans filed on or after December 1, 2020.  The Court is publishing the revised plan now to permit sufficient time for practitioners to incorporate the revised form into practice, and the Court will consider any comments regarding the revised plan submitted by October 31, 2020.  Please email any comments to David LePauloue.
