Judicial Seminar Disclosure

The U.S. Judicial Conference adopted a Privately Funded Seminar Disclosure Reporting policy that requires educational program providers and judges to disclose certain information relevant to judges' attendance at privately-funded educational programs.

A federal judge who attends an educational program as a speaker or participant where a non-exempt organization pays for or reimburses that judge for expenses in excess of $415, must disclose financial and programmatic information.
