All Chapter 11 cases are randomly auto assigned. All other cases are assigned by county as follows: cases originating in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Oxford, Sagadahoc, and York counties are assigned to the Portland Office; cases originating in Aroostook, Franklin, Handcock, Kennebeck, Knox, Lincoln, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Somerset, Waldo and Washington counties are assigned to the Bangor Office.
